Men's Wear at Berlin Fashion Week

Ubi Sunt 

Just a quick post about my impressions from the men's wear shows I attended. I have to admit that I was more impressed and inspired by them than some women's wear fashion shows.
The presentation from the swedish label Ubi Sunt (I like presentations more as it is easier to look at the clothes and take nice pictures, at show I often sit in the back and we don't have the perfect zoom lens, YET :)) showed jackets with cuts and layers that the eye doesn't get right away. Combined with grey colors and sleeves that are attached at the back, this was the perfect combination for next winter and I hope they make some jackets in XS, too :) We have seen similar sleeves on Maison Martin Margiela and I really think in the next seasons the focus will be on sleeves: big sleeves, puffy sleeves, weird sleeves and unused sleeves like here.

Schnell ein kleiner Post zu meinen Impressionen über die Männermodeschauen, die ich mir angesehen habe. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich von denen mehr beeindruckt und inspiriert war als von manchen Women's wear shows. 
Die Präsentation vom schwedischen Label Ubi Sunt (Ich mag Präsentationen im Studio mehr als Runway, da ich mir dort die Klamotten besser anschauen kann und bessere Fotos machen kann. Bei Runway sitze ich meistens sehr weit oben und wir haben NOCH kein gutes Zoom Objektiv, noch :)) zeigte Jacken mit Schnitten und und tollem Lagenlook, die das Auge nicht auf den ersten Blick versteht. Kombiniert mit grauen Farben und Ärmeln, die am Rücken angenäht sind, war dies die perfekte Kombination für den nächsten Winter und ich hoffe wirklich, dass Ubi Sunt auch ein paar Jacken in XS macht :) Wir haben schon ähnliche Ärmel bei Maison Martin Margiela gesehen und ich bin der festen Überzeugung, dass in den nächsten Saisons der Fokus auf Ärmeln liegt: große Ärmel, puffige Ärmel, seltsame Ärmel und unbenutzte Ärmel wie hier bei Ubi Sunt.

Marc Stone:

The swiss label Marc Stone kept it really minimalistic and cool. I wasn't so impressed by their jackets, even though I like blazer jackets made out of jersey, but the pants were a real eye catcher for me! My favorite was the grey one with quilted stitching (last picture, sorry for the bad image quality, we were sitting in the back). Again I hope they make them in XS, too :)

Marc Stone zeigte coole minimalistische Designs. Ich war nicht so beeindruckt von den Jacken, obwohl ich Blazer Jacken aus Jersey Stoff mag, aber die Hosen waren ein echter Hingucker für mich! Mein Favorit war die abgesteppte Hose im letzten Bild (sorry für die schlechte Fotoqualität, wie gesagt wir saßen hinten und haben noch keinen Superzoom, haha). Und wieder hoffe ich, dass wir diese Hosen auch in XS finden!!!
